There are some speculation going on regarding a new iPod Touch having a built in microphone and some more memory (i.e. 64 GB).

Ken Camp have written an excellent piece does not believe that the VoIP on iPod Touch will become a VoIP hit with pre-teen…

Nothing to cannibalize. They need a high end product with a high end sticker price to get rid of AT&T being a complete pain in the A**. Apple doesn’t need the telecom companies really. They just need the market to innovate, and the telecoms clearly don’t do that from a features, a price point or customer service perspective.

This is a shot across the bow of telecom by an unlikely hero – Apple.

Your stockish picture of the iPod Touch is the first gen model, not the current one.

Just thought it was kind of funny that you have a picture from the past in an article discussing a product from the future.
