We mentioned earlier that TELUS is trying hard to justify it’s advertisement – The Future is Friendly and it’s first step in year 2010 towards a friendly future is the launch of Madison aka LG GB255G.
Barely a couple of months after it launched it’s HSPA 3G+ network, TELUS is now planning to ramp up it’s portfolio of 3G (rather 3G+ phones) and I’m sure that Madision is the first of many 3G phones that we’ll see being rolled out in 2010.
A quick look at the specs of Madision
- 1.3 MP Camera
- 2″ Internal Display
- 97.6 x 48.4 x 16.9 mm
- 84g Weight
- Bluetooth
- Supports up to 4 GB memory
- MP3 Player
- MicroSD Card
And the pricing options
- No Contract – $249.99′
- 1 Year Contract – $199.99
- 2 Year Contract – $149.99
- 3 Year Contract – $49.99
As to why TELUS chose an old school ’flip me open’ kinda phone as it’s first launch in 2010 is difficult for me to answer and I’m now looking forward to what’s coming next from TELUS. More details on the LG Madison here.
