Let your fingers do the scrolling. Introducing the AirMouse from Deanmark

by Jeff Wiener on January 29, 2010

I just got the new Apple Magic Mouse and have enjoyed using that for the last few weeks (although the battery doesn’t last very long). And just when I thought I had purchased the coolest mouse, along comes the AirMouse.

The picture speaks for itself. It’s the mouse you wear like a glove. The AirMouse begins with the human form and builds functionality around it. The AirMouse increases your mousing speed and accuracy by seamlessly aligning itself with the ligaments of your hand and wrist. Their web site sales pitch … with the AirMouse you can mouse better, faster, and longer.

Taken from the company web site … “the clinically-tested product works by aligning itself with the ligaments of your hand and wrist. This lets you keep your hand in a neutral position, and transmits more of your vector force than would be possible with a regular mouse. Not only does this make it easier on your hand, but it increases your mousing speed and accuracy as well. The mouse is also designed to remain inactive until your hand is placed in a neutral, flat position”.

Now this is cool. Good-bye Magic Mouse, hello AirMouse !

Wasn’t this glove mouse featured recently on “Dragon’s Den?” I believe one or more of the “Dragons” invested in this product. I wish them well.
