Apple’s bringing sexy back! – Not!

by Guest on February 26, 2010

apple-hot-sexy-girl Today, Apple revealed an exciting addition to the App Store – an Explicit section where you could expect to find all of the sexy games and pics that make your smart phone complete.

Gone are the days when you had to be a major player, like Playboy or Sports Illustrated, to get your risqué app in the awaiting, uhm, hands, of your audience.  Now everyone with a connection to iTunes can download a new genre of content that wasn’t available previously…

But, apparently Apple feels that titillation through teasing is a much more effective marketing vehicle.  The explicit section was only available for a few hours, and it’s removal has been verified by Apple, but “might be available in the future.”

Maybe it was a reward for iTunes hitting the epic milestone of 10 billion songs downloaded. If this is the case, I can’t wait to see what they will do when they hit 10 billion downloaded apps – hope it’s racy.  Until then, I guess it’s going to be solitaire that fills up my time on the phone.
