Avaya’s 2011 Americas Partners Conference starts Tuesday Oct. 19th

by Jeff Wiener on October 18, 2010

The Avaya 2011 Americas Partner Conference is starting this Tuesday and ending Thursday in Las Vegas. Avaya is expecting 1,300 Avaya partners from the US, Canada, and Latin America. This years event should be especially interesting considering it’s the first combined Avaya Nortel event since Avaya’s acquisition of Nortel in December 2009. Avaya will provide a state of the union address from Kevin Kennedy, Avaya’s CEO, and we will hear from senior executives Jeremy Butt, Joel Hackney and others about where things are at with Avaya, and more importantly, where Avaya is headed both from a product and corporate perspective.

In addition to the conference speakers there will be an exhibit hall featuring dozens of Avaya’s DevConnect Partners. I will be tweeting with updates as the meetings progress and you can follow from Digitcom’s Twitter page. I will write a follow-up post this Friday.
